The internet became mainstream around 1999 and Nate was in his teens. Before then, he was supporting his local school district – learning every single day before and after school and during summers! He learned the nitty gritty of Novell (who remembers that?) and learned the basics of hardware and software from the high school technology teacher, Mr. Mark Lind. Nate has always had a passion for technology; constantly looking for ways to make things happen faster and more efficiently. Couple that love of process with a passion for creativity, fostered by his elementary and high school art teachers, especially Mrs. Mary Lind, he quickly learned the passion of web design.
As a key figure in the school newspaper all throughout high school, Nate also learned the value of layout and what draws the reader’s eye to focal points. These points were further harnessed as yearbook editor his senior year (2003-2004) – the first year the Princeton High School Yearbook was primarily designed digitally – a huge step forward!
